Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Certification is required
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Strong background as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Specialist, or in 1:1 pediatric support
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to student needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students, including those with behavioral or developmental needs, under the guidance of licensed educators
- Facilitate learning activities and reinforce classroom routines to foster student engagement and success
- Work 1:1 with assigned students, implementing behavior plans and interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to maintain a consistent, positive environment
- Document progress and communicate regularly with faculty and family members regarding student achievement and challenges
