Your responsibilities include patient education, documentation, and participation in research projects, while ensuring radiation safety and regulatory compliance.\nTo qualify, you must have completed an accredited cardiac technology program or a health science degree, hold or obtain Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) certification within 6 months, and have CPR training within 45 days. •\tLICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
•\tRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) required within 6 months of hire.
•\tCPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
•\tPALS and ACLS certification required and/or must be obtained and maintained within 12 months of hire.
•\tMINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
•\tCompletion of an accredited Cardiac Technology program, Associate, or Baccalaureate program in health science required.
•\t1-3 years related work experience preferred.
•\tPediatric experience required .
•\tKnowledge and skill in invasive procedures protocols, equipment and instrumentation specific to cardiac invasive procedures preferred.
•\tInterpersonal skills necessary for effective communication with physicians, nursing personnel, clinicians, other support staff, patients, and families.
•\tDemonstrates the skill set to work independently.
•\tAbility to accommodate after hour call coverage.
•\tMust provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing
