Job Description

Cheer Home Care is looking for a compassionate and experienced In-Home Caregiver for a private home in the La Jolla Bird Rock area. This position offers 12-hour day shifts on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

In this role, you will provide essential non-medical home care services for a hospice client who is bedbound, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life in a supportive home environment. Responsibilities include:

Assisting with personal care and daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and repositioning
Monitoring client comfort and reporting any changes to the care team
Providing companionship and emotional support
Maintaining a clean, safe, and peaceful environment

Requirements

Qualifications:

Cell phone with internet access
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Preferred certifications: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED (not mandatory)

Cheer Offers:

Hourly Rate: $20 to $23, depending on experience, certifications, reference reviews, car access, and more.
Weekly Payments
Flexible Schedule: Full-time or part-time, based on your availability and travel preferences
