Job title: Total Ship Readiness Assessment (TSRA) Specialist
Job details:
Performed ship configuration verification, data entry and database updates in Discrepancy Documentation Tool (DDT) and compilation and production of assessment reports to support TSRA, MTR and other TYCOM directed Assessments.
TSRA and Other TYCOM Directed Assessment Tasks:
- Prior to and during a TSRA, research, compile and validate ships’ system/equipment configuration data from Navy logistical (OMMS-NG) and 3M databases, and input into DDT
- Prior to and during a TSRA, develop and assemble TSRA Assessment Books (average 80 to 90 per TSRA visit) to the Subject Matter Expert (SME) no later than five working days prior to TSRA visit start date
- TSRA Assessment Books (1 per each system identified) to include:
o Go Assess 2-Kilos (GA2Ks)
o Continuous Ships Maintenance Project (CSMP) Review 2Ks
o Maintenance Repair Cards (MRCs)
o Expanded Ship Work Breakdown Structure-Allowance Parts List (ESWBS-APL)
o System Summary Report
- During a TSRA, convert Material Assessment Forms (MAFs) into Automated Work Notifications
(AWNs) inducted into the DDT program, and screen for completeness and accuracy, daily
- Create Maintenance, Material and Management (3M) bulk-load files and process for upload to the
ships’ Continuous Ships Maintenance Project (CSMP), daily during a TSRA
- Provide daily TSRA reports from DDT in hard copy and by email to the TSRA Assessment
Director (AD)
- Provide final assessment documentation to the AD within 10 working days of conclusion of
- TSRA visit to include:
o TSRA Executive Overview (3 Hardcopies)
o Team Members Report
o Type Availability (TA) Screening Report
o Testing Summary
o Existing CSMP Review
o Hardware Summary Report
o Detailed 2-Kilo (2K) Report
o System Training Report
o Testing Not Attempted/Testing Not Completed (TNA/TNC) Report
o Parts Report
o SERMC 8 O’clock Report
o Electronic TSRA Visit Backup (3 CD-R)
o TSRA Executive Overview
o Work Center 2-Kilo Reports
o CSMP Review (Scanned copies)
o Original MAFs (Scanned copies)
- Post TSRA metrics obtained from DDT to the Visit Analysis Center (VAC) data repository
MTR Assessment Tasks:

- Research, compile and validate ships’ system/equipment configuration data from Navy logistical and 3M databases, and input into DDT
o Develop and assemble Assessment Books and provide to the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within 5 working days of Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV) start date
o MTR Assessment Books (1 per each system identified) include:
o GA2Ks
o CSMP Review 2Ks
o MRCs
o ESWBS-APL Listings
o System Summary Report
- Convert MAF’s into AWN’s inducted into the DDT program, and validate for completeness and accuracy, daily.
- Develop 3M bulk-load files and process for upload to the ships’ CSMP, daily
- Update MTR tracker daily, with results of the assessment from Go Assess 3-Kilos (GA2Ks) and develop Go Repair 2-Kilos WA2Ks ad directed by the AD.
Qualifications for the role:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Adobe Pro
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience with 3M systems
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience with Shipboard Supply and Logistics Databases (OMMS-NG and Relational Supply)
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience with TRSA and/or CMP processes
- Must be United States Citizen
- Must have active secret level security clearance
