Position Summary:
The Baily Roller is a critical component of the company’s success and works in a hands-on capacity with raw materials to create finished product. These employees are responsible for assembling eggrolls by hand that utilize products from various production lines. These employees work directly with the Rolling Lead, Shift Lead, Production Supervisor and related employees to ensure product quality and customer expectations are met in each eggroll.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality and uniformity of finished products by following product specific hand rolling techniques at all times.
- Responsible for conducting line breakdowns as needed for cleaning during product changeovers and mid-shift sanitizing.
- Ensure that the work area is always maintained in a clean and safe manner
- Notify the Line Lead, supervisor and/or maintenance of in the event of a mechanical breakdown, mechanical issue, or any portion of the assigned workspace that could present a safety issue.
- Follow all cGMP’s and HACCP procedures.
- Assist with the set up and/or breakdown of production equipment when required by Shift Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
- Report all pertinent information to the Rolling Lead, Shift Lead, supervisor, Plant Manager or other leadership members and perform additional duties that may be assigned by management.
- Direct interaction with Shift Lead, Rolling Lead, and Production Supervisor for direction and to keep them apprised of opportunities that are discovered while performing the rolling duties.

Required Education and Experience
- Some food production experience, particularly in a USDA facility, is preferred but not required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Environment and Potential Job Hazards:
- Wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)
- Extreme cold (non-weather)
- Working around moving equipment and mechanical parts
- Slippery/wet surfaces
Physical Demands:
- may require stooping, reaching, climbing balancing, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- standing, walking, and/or sitting for extended periods
- ability to work for extended periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel items
- Vision requirements: close -up, distance, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Required PPE:
- Safety footwear that meets or exceeds OSHA standards.
- Hair net and beard net within production areas
- Wearing of smocks in the production area
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, minimum of 40 hours per week, overtime may be available and/or required, typical production schedule is Monday-Friday.
Travel
Travel is not required.
