An opportunity for experienced registered nurses with medical-surgical expertise is available for a night shift position in Joelton, TN. This role requires a reliable and skilled RN who thrives in medical-surgical settings and is comfortable working flexible schedules including every other weekend and holiday shifts.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current TN nursing license (RN)
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; 2 years preferred on a medical-surgical unit
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Familiarity with Cerner, Merge, and PowerChart electronic medical records systems
- Ability to provide care at a patient ratio of 1:6
Schedule and Work Details:
- Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
- Must be available for every other weekend and every other holiday as needed
- Floating between units may be required
- No block scheduling or 48-hour shifts
- Maximum requested time off (RTO) of 1 week will be considered
Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care on an 18-24 bed medical-surgical unit, accurately documenting in the EMR system, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
