Position Overview
This role involves executing a range of radiological technical procedures aimed at diagnosing and treating breast conditions in a busy outpatient environment, whether stationary or mobile. The individual will be accountable for generating high-quality radiographic images while ensuring a compassionate and supportive interaction with all patients. Additionally, the role includes performing necessary quality control tasks as required by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA, either as a designated Quality Control technologist or under their supervision. Depending on the location, the technologist may also need to apply general radiography skills to conduct diagnostic radiology exams, perform bone densitometry (DEXA), or carry out breast-related special procedures in collaboration with medical staff.

Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program that qualifies for registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Upon hiring: Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
- Upon hiring: National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Upon hiring: National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Must obtain National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in mammography.

The listed wage range reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position. The successful candidate's placement within this range will be influenced by relevant experience and other applicable factors. This range represents base pay; additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
