This contract position is perfect for professionals eager to make a positive impact on young learners during Extended School Year (ESY) programming. You’ll serve multiple sites including West Crawford Elementary, Dunbar Township Elementary, Springfield Elementary, and Connellsville Area High School, collaborating with educators and staff to enrich outcomes for approximately 56 students.

Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate.
Experience working in school settings, preferably in ESY or similar environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to organize schedules across multiple sites.
Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of ESY students, ensuring interventions meet individualized education program (IEP) goals.
Coordinate with classroom teachers and staff to integrate speech services within the broader educational program.
Conduct assessments and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records per ESY requirements.
Participate in team meetings, and contribute to collaborative planning and problem solving.
Travel between assigned school sites as needed during the contract dates of July 1–30, 2026.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to federal and state regulations and ethical standards.
