Job Description

A global industrial manufacturing company in the Dayton, OH area is currently seeking a Manufacturing Production Specialist to join their facility. Entry-level candidates and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities of Manufacturing Production Specialist:

· Operate the manufacturing machines

· Ensure the products are meeting company standard quality and production schedule

· Examine processes and design plans to effectively use available resources

· Support plans to improve quality systems and facility structures

· Complete regulatory compliance related documentation and procedures

· Build and maintain professional relationships with team members for effective communication

· Follow all OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA standards for optimal operations for the facility

· Support continuous improvement projects by using data-driven analysis to evaluate performance metrics, uncover root causes of issues and recommend process enhancements.

· Focuses on developing individuals with the skills and experience necessary to assume leadership positions in project management and operations management.

· Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements of Manufacturing Production Specialist:

· High School Diploma or equivalent or other related field or equivalent experience

· Prefer relevant work history in manufacturing or factory production experience

· Must follow safety standards daily and be able to operate manufacturing equipment

· Strong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team

· Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment

· Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently

· Team worker, detail oriented, responsible, punctual, self-motivated

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel

· Must have excellent communication skills in both written/verbal English

· Japanese or Spanish language skill is a plus

· This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
