Job Description:Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual to join our team at Zeo Energy as a Fleet Coordinator. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance, utilization, and management of our company’s vehicle fleet of work vans, trucks, and cars. The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while complying with all regulatory requirements. This position requires proactive problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with field employees, vendors, and other stakeholders. The Fleet Manager must exhibit exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop and implement best practices for fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the fleet, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, safe, and roadworthy.
  • Coordinate with vendors, mechanics, and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
  • Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend vehicle life cycles.
  • Lead accident investigations and insurance claim processes as needed.
  • Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and operating costs; identify and implement strategies for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Support vehicle procurement, leasing, registration, and insurance.
  • Train and support drivers and staff on safety policies, compliance standards, and operational procedures.


Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, compliance requirements, and safety standards
  • Proven ability to quickly assess, identify root causes, and address problems with a focus on practical solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with field personnel and vendors
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support fleet operations across multiple locations
