The Training and Orientation Coordinator at Country Meadows understands that continued learning, training and development is an important part of professional growth. The Onboarding and Training Specialist brings together all the elements for co-worker training, development, and support with an enthusiasm that reinforces the value of an environment that supports increasing levels of professional capability and personal growth.
Schedule Details:

Full-time, primarily 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Works every 4th weekend as part of a rotating schedule

Must be flexible to adjust hours as needed to:

Support training across all shifts

Accommodate new hire onboarding schedules

Meet the needs of team members and departmental operations

Training and Orientation Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains schedules for training opportunities on campus including on campus instructor-led sessions, webinars, regularly scheduled co-worker training.
- Serves as contact for all training events, coordinating with Home Office instructors as well as those from the community.
- Facilitates onboarding program for all new co-workers.
- Organizes and teaches mentor program to prepare them for the role.
- Connects with each new co-worker at least every 1-2 weeks during first 90 days of their employment to confirm satisfaction or discover unmet needs.
- Promotes awareness and supports achievement of career paths for workers.
- Liaises with managers to support retention and career growth for all co-workers.
- Networks in the larger community to identify agencies and resources that can benefit our co-workers, and also ensures that co-workers are aware of all company-sponsored benefits.
Training and Orientation Coordinator Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, or a related field preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in staff training, new hire orientation, or education coordination — preferably in a healthcare or senior living

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training schedules and priorities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be comfortable speaking in front of groups and working with diverse teams

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning management systems (LMS)

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
