About the Opportunity:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Englewood right away. This is a full-time, evaluation-to-hire opportunity offering a clear path to a permanent role. If you’re someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and contributing to a growing team, you’ll have the chance to make an impact from day one.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Work daily in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Contribute to our transition to SAP (great hands-on experience)
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- SAP experience or exposure is a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
