Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and support day-to-day accounting operations for a growing organization. This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, responsible for managing accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial processes while partnering closely with sales, operations, and fulfillment teams.This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on, improving processes, and contributing to a collaborative team environment while supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and process vendor invoices and manage the weekly cash disbursement cycle
  • Create customer invoices and accurately apply payments on a daily basis
  • Manage accounts receivable aging and collaborate with internal sales teams, external reps, and customers as needed
  • Apply cash payments across multiple channels (checks, ACH, credit cards, wires)
  • Record bank activity and support month-end close processes
  • Calculate, file, and remit quarterly Sales & Use tax payments
  • Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
  • Prepare and post journal entries for period-end financial reporting
  • Identify and recommend accounting and operational best practices
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with the MS Office suite
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a changing environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Strong work ethic and positive, solution-oriented attitude

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Office-based role with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
  • Frequent use of hands for data entry and office tasks
  • Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds
