This is an on-site position at Reston headquarters and Central Services Facility. Your seasonal position may require travel to multiple Reston Association sites based on the duties required.
Position Overview

At RA, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are actively seeking a Seasonal Grounds Crew Member to join our team! This hands-on role is essential to keeping Reston beautiful and safe by supporting landscaping and mowing efforts across RA properties and VDOT roadways. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining green spaces, this is a great opportunity to contribute to your community in a meaningful way.
This position offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts from Monday-Thursday from April – November. These hours depend on operational needs and are subject to change.
What You’ll Bring
- 18years old and up.
- Ability to operate mowers and small landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
- Physical capability to lift and carry between 10 to 50lbsandoperatea variety of landscaping tools and machinery, including tractors and mowers.
- Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to completing assigned tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining community spaces.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- No certifications required, training will be provided.
