We are looking for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer to drive business development initiatives in the Dallas market. This position focuses on originating commercial real estate loans while building and maintaining strong relationships with loan brokers, investors, and potential borrowers. The individual in this role will be instrumental in growing our commercial lending presence throughout Texas.
The ideal candidate brings in-depth knowledge of the Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio commercial real estate markets, along with a solid background in accounting, credit analysis, and underwriting. This expertise will be essential in evaluating risk, structuring transactions, and supporting sound credit decisions.

Compensation:
$100,000 at plan earnings
Responsibilities:
- Originate floating-rate commercial real estate loans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with loan brokers
- Review and analyze financial information from loan applicants
- Conduct site visits and evaluate properties and locations
- Meet and communicate with loan applicants and assess their financial needs
- Determine appropriate pricing and loan structures
- Coordinate with all parties to facilitate loan closing
- Maintain interpersonal connections with loan applicants
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal client relations skills
- Minimum (2) years of commercial lending experience required
- Experience in handling construction loans is a plus
- Demonstrated team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness effectively
- Solid accounting and credit analysis background required
- Must be highly familiar with the real estate markets in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio
