Position Summary
Account Coordinator is a desk-based position. This team works from our beautiful corporate office with golf course views in Parkville, MO. This position offers a hybrid schedule of three days in office and two days from home. The Account Coordinator is vital to the success of our warehouse operations and is responsible for daily execution and communication to warehouse staff while processing and monitoring customer orders. The role also serves as the liaison between the client and operations teams and is the principle point of contact for the client. The Account Coordinator must understand client expectations while partnering with operations to ensure outstanding service.
This individual is also responsible for providing operational management and support to ensure efficient and timely pick-up and delivery and handling of customer orders and shipments, while ensuring compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.
Daily responsibilities and activities include order and inventory management, customer service, data entry, report generation and analysis, auditing, quality and control, internal and external communications, transportation coordination, external business reviews, and miscellaneous administrative duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Provides customer service, sales, and operational support for the Warehouse Center
• Maintains an open line of communications with customers and continually engages with their business
• Customer interaction encompasses in-person, phone, and e-mail correspondence, and includes the resolution of order or billing problems in relation to the warehouse location
• Researches shipment tracking requests and provides feedback, including resolution of misplaced orders and/or shipments
• Responsible for basic technology needs, including user skills with a variety of MS Office software programs and the maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware operating systems and applications (printers, ship stations, etc.)
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks; working with remote Subject Matter Experts to ensure operational efficiencies
• Internal communications with Business Development/Sales, Integrations, and Information Technology to resolve customer problems
• Assists with operational procedures including sorting, loading/unloading activities, shipment processing and documentation, manifesting, packaging, and sending shipment status information
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience

• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of the time. Some movements of the hands, arms, and wrists may involve repetitive motions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess various activities and surroundings.
• Cognitive/Mental Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to comprehend and use basic language, either written or spoken, to communicate simple and complex information, ideas, and information. The employee is also required to use logic to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret information, and deal with abstract variables for unique or unfamiliar situations. The employee must use problem-solving skills to formulate and apply appropriate courses of action for routine or familiar situations. • Work Environment: This position is primarily performed in a warehouse and office with varying degrees of temperatures.
