· Communication skills, able to work alone and in a team environment, follow instructions, work safely, strong verbal and written communication for discussing maintenance issues
· Basic math skills for calculating supply requirements
· Two years or more of experience in remodeling, new construction, or maintenance of commercial or residential property.
· Construction skills such as carpentry, painting, masonry, concrete, plumbing, flooring, roofing, fencing, etc.
· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for fixing building maintenance issues
· Administrative skills, organized, able to request supplies, handle records, and work with the team to schedule building maintenance jobs and or tasks.
· Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move, and handle equipment
· Experienced in the operation of power tools used for repairs, construction, forklift, etc.
· Stamina to deal with long hours standing, walking, climbing ladders, kneeling, squatting, bending, crawling, etc.
· Ability to work in extreme hot or cold conditions indoors and outdoors
· Organizational and time management skills, and a self-starter
· Respond to maintenance requests and handle any necessary repairs, such as fixing flooring, drywall, plaster, patching walls, and floor holes, and painting.
· Materials handling, methods, and equipment used in construction and building repairs, carpentry, basic electrical knowledge, and plumbing systems maintenance and repair.
· Operating the Han Scissor lift and boom lift
