Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An elementary school located in Warren, MI, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to pre-school and elementary students. This contract position will span the current school year and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to pre-school and elementary students.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that support student communication goals.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of childhood communication disorders and intervention strategies.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Candidates with SLPA or SLP-CF credentials are not eligible for this position.

Location: Warren, Michigan
Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, onsite
Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY)
