We are a reputable and fast-growing residential construction firm specializing in ground-up and large-scale renovation projects across the Los Angeles and Orange County regions. With a strong pipeline of multi-family developments, they are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to join their team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, on-schedule, and on-budget projects.
Position Overview:
The Construction Superintendent will oversee the day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires hands-on leadership, a deep understanding of multi-family construction processes, and strong coordination with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage on-site construction activities for multi-family residential projects from start to finish
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
- Maintain project schedule and proactively address any delays or issues
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings
- Track and report on progress, material usage, and labor performance
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, and city inspectors
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and procurement as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in residential or multi-family construction
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and residential construction practices
- Proven track record of managing multi-family projects in the LA or Orange County markets
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
