Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Manager will provide strategic leadership and oversee all operations at our client's site. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring quality standards, optimizing production efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities may evolve and change over time.

Operations Management
· Develop an d execute strategies to optimize plant operations and achieve production targets.
· Oversee all aspects of the assembly process, including production scheduling, efficiency tracking, and quality control.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
· Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Quality Assurance:
· Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure that we meet or exceed customer expectations.
· Investigate and address any quality issues or customer complaints in a timely manner.
· Collaborate with customers to improve the quality of incoming materials and components.
Financial Management:
· Develop and manage the assembly budget, including forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
· Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising product quality or customer satisfaction.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, labor productivity, and operating expenses.
· Drive initiatives to improve profitability and achieve financial targets.
Customer Focus:
· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer requirements and market trends in the industry.
· Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to customers, meeting or exceeding service level agreements.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
· Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
Regulatory Compliance:
· Stay informed about relevant regulations, standards, and industry’s best practices related to manufacturing and assembly.
· Ensure that the plant operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
· Coordinate with regulatory agencies and auditors as needed.
Team Development:
· Oversee Training and development to build a skilled workforce capable of meeting the plant's operational needs.
· Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to employees.
· Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning.
· Identify and nurture future leaders within the organization through succession planning and talent development programs.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
· 5 years of experience in logistics management
· Proven record of successfully leading production teams and driving operational excellence.
· Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and people skills.
· Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance metrics tracking.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
· Commitment to delivering superior customer value.
· Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)
Operations Supervisor Duties Overview:
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the distribution center and ensuring efficient and effective warehouse management.
· Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including hiring and training.
· Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize productivity and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory control team.
· Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
· Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
· Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze data for process improvement.
· Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, implementing OSHA guidelines for safety compliance.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
· Identifies, investigates, and resolves delays in shift operations, ensuring shipping deadlines are met.
· Works with Operations Manager and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
· Previous experience in a similar role as a Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Supervisor in a distribution center or logistics environment.
· Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including materials handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.
· Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus.
· Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications.
· Ability to lead a team effectively, providing guidance, coaching, and support
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· High volume, multi-facility oversite, and Customer facing.
· Must have previous experience in unload, distribution, and P&L.
· Excellent organizational skills and mindfulness.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
· Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
· Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
· Bilingual (Spanish/English a plus)
