Location: Maryville, TN

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients requiring telemetry monitoring and acute medical care. The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiac monitoring skills, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to care for complex medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN License Required

• Current BLS Certification

• Current ACLS Certification

• Current NIHSS Certification

• Minimum 1 Year of Recent MS/Tele Experience

• Minimum 1 Year of Epic EMR Experience Required

• First-Time Travelers Considered Based on Experience

• Experience with Adult and Geriatric Patient Populations

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

• Monitor telemetry patients and identify changes in patient condition.

• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments.

• Care for patients with cardiac, neurological, respiratory, renal, and medical-surgical conditions.

• Assist with post-heart catheterization patient care.

• Participate in bedside procedures and patient monitoring.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Float to similar units as needed based on staffing requirements.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR.

• Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
