Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

- Travel position (full-time)
Qualifications:
- Certified or eligible Radiology Technologist, with prior experience in imaging and bone mineral density measurement preferred
- Thorough knowledge of patient care protocols and safety standards
- Strong communication skills for patient interactions and team collaboration
- Previous experience working with specialized bone densitometry equipment highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for procedures by thoroughly explaining processes, answering questions, and coordinating scheduling
- Perform bone density scans, review findings, determine appropriate tests, and recommend alternate scan sites when needed
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of densitometer, computer equipment, and accurate patient records
- Coordinate protocol details and recordkeeping with pharmaceutical partners
- Apply knowledge to conduct scans and systematically modify clinical protocols as appropriate
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is properly cared for
