Job Title: NX Programmer – 5-Axis Machining

Location: San Francisco, California

Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Salaried

Compensation: $160,000 – $170,000 DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced NX Programmer with hands-on expertise in 5-axis machining to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment—and produce prototype parts for aerospace and defense applications.

This role will be a mix of programming and hands-on machining, so candidates must be comfortable programming, setting up, and running machines as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run parts using Siemens NX CAM on 5-axis equipment.
• Support heavy prototype workflows, including aerospace and jet engine components.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to optimize processes and ensure precision.
• Work in a high-tolerance environment adhering to aerospace/DoD-level quality.
• Contribute to a fast-paced shop culture where innovation and problem-solving are valued.

Candidate Must-Haves

• Proven experience with Siemens NX programming (no in-house training available).
• Strong background in 5-axis machining (4-axis considered if programming expertise is exceptional).
• Previous experience in aerospace, DoD, or other tight-tolerance industries.
• Ability and willingness to run/setup machines as part of day-to-day work.
• Strong problem-solving and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
