As a Server Lead, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming dining experience where residents and guests feel genuinely cared for. In this role, you’ll ensure exceptional mealtime service, guide and support waitstaff, and model high standards in both hospitality and teamwork. You’ll be part of what makes daily life at Vivie truly special—one meal, one smile, one moment at a time.

As a Server Lead, you will:

  • Dining Room Operations – Oversee meal service setup and cleanup, assist with food delivery, and ensure a welcoming and organized dining experience for residents and guests.
  • Team Supervision & Training – Support and guide waitstaff during shifts, provide on-the-spot coaching, and model excellence in customer service and efficiency.
  • Sanitation & Safety Standards – Maintain cleanliness and infection control in all dining areas, properly handle food and equipment, and follow regulatory compliance procedures.
  • Resident Experience – Ensure dietary preferences and modifications are communicated and met, offer menu details with care, and uphold a resident-first hospitality culture.
  • Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

This job also requires:

  • Previous food service or dining experience is preferred, especially in senior living or healthcare settings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (or current high school student).
  • Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of infectional control standards and food service safety.
  • Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, team members, and visitors.
