Job Description
Real estate developer and contractor is seeking a motivated and high-performing assistant to provide administrative and operations support. We are a small team that’s forward-thinking and growing quickly. We manage the construction of major redevelopment projects and develop our own assets across Philadelphia and South Jersey. Seeking someone with fresh ideas and great time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Owner and Manager on all steps of the property development process, including meeting with architects, engineers, lawyers, and attending zoning hearings
- Provide excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with vendors
- Assist Manager with drafting bids/invoices for construction projects, and filing forms/applications
- Coordinate permit applications and inspections with Philly L&I, other municipal construction offices
- Oversee ordering construction materials and equipment
- General administrative work like filing, ordering office supplies, scheduling meetings as needed
- Record all meeting minutes related to ongoing projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- On-site availability: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous experience in office administration, executive assisting, or similar
- Ability to work alone or in a small group
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent record-keeping skills
- Interest in Real Estate or Construction a plus
