Summary of Responsibilities: Create visually compelling digital and print graphics and assist with developing engaging copy. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate and influence effectively. As a creative thinker with a passion for design and storytelling you will work under the direction of marketing leadership to bring visual creativity and design to increase brand and product awareness to our customers and the marketplace.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design and production of assets; print and digital ads, presentations, webinar assets, media kits, sales slicks, catalogs, banners, business cards, letterhead, QR codes and more.
  • Take accountability for design milestones, timelines, and deliverables within project schedule.
  • Assist team with developing engaging copy, as assigned.
  • Assist team is developing brand stories that educate, inspire, and build awareness around product and company to both B2B and B2C customers.
  • Utilize concise, compelling, and grammatically correct messaging across a variety of assets
  • Build print-ready files per industry best practices and collaborate with print vendors to deliver them accurately.
  • Maintain brand style guides and utilize correct tone and voice of brand messaging across platforms.
  • Work with team photographer to initiate photography and videography content that highlights the brand and products.
  • Assist with editing and distributing photography to the team and through various channels and outlets.
  • Manage digital and print assets on product pages, local servers, and online asset management platforms for distribution to retail customers.
  • Responsible for administrative tasks as relevant to the needs of the role: expense reporting, inventory orders, and inventory returns.
  • Special projects assigned by marketing leadership.

Education and Work Experience:

  • 6+ years experience in graphic design, storytelling, and creative ideation


Software/Tools/Equipment Used:

  • Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Asana, BeePro, PowerPoint, AI platforms

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience using Asana preferred
  • Outstanding creativity, an eye for detail, and the ability to tell a story that engages and excites
  • Highly proficient copywriting and editing skills are essential
  • Strong multitasking skills working with a variety of projects and deadlines
  • Strong ownership of projects and collaboration; communicate in a concise and friendly manner
  • Comfortably working in person and remotely


Physical Demands

  • This is largely an office role; however, the position requires the ability to occasionally lift products, materials or office supplies up to 30 pounds.


Position Type/Work Schedule

  • This is a full-time hybrid position: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM. The position is in office 2-3 days per week.


True North Gear will offer the successful candidate a competitive base compensation and benefits package. The targeted range for this salaried, non-exempt role is $80,000 - $90,000 . Benefits offerings include medical, dental and vision, 401(k) with match and a generous paid time-off program.
