Olmsted Aggregateis a leading aggregate provider in the greater Rochester area. With four quarry and pit locations, we provide a variety of rock, stone, sand, and dirt for commercial and residential use. We are looking for an operator to join our team. Must have previous heavy equipment experience in a variety of machines.
Responsibilities:
- Comply and follow MSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Daily, pre and post inspection of equipment
- Routine maintenance of equipment including grease, fuel, fluid checks, wash, etc.
- Communicate closely with aggregate foreman for instructions
- Notify managers of equipment repairs
- Report safety concerns or incidents in a timely manner
- Setup/tear down of crushing/screen/plants
- Assist with screen changes working on step ladder
Physical Demands:
- Working in all weather conditions Rain, sleet, snow, heat, cold
- Exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery
- Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
- Kneeling, squatting, standing for extended periods of time
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal range to observe and communicate with crew members to assure safety
- Looking for hazards other equipment/people etc.
- Shovel/Raking/Scraping etc.
