Job DescriptionDescription:
- Drive company vehicles to deliver products to customer location.
- Refuel vehicles in accordance with vehicle specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
- Obtain client or customer signatures when needed and ensure all documentation is properly completed at submission.
- Meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness, including sweep and mopping
- Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Prepare orders by processing requests; pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Open bales, crates and other containers.
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Prepare material for distribution and other entities.
- Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service.
Requirements:
License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License Required
Must be at least 21 years of age for insurability purposes.
