This full-time, itinerant speech-language pathologist position serves K-12 students across two school sites in Burney, CA. The role requires a motivated and skilled professional who holds an active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in the state of California. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year, offering a valuable opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to support student progress and academic success.
- Manage documentation and reporting in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Travel between two school sites to deliver consistent and effective therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid SLP license in California.
- Experience working in school settings with students across K-12 grade levels preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.
