We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform high-complexity testing in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role is responsible for accurate test performance, quality assurance, and maintaining compliance with all CLIA standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform high-complexity laboratory testing, including Quantitative Urinalysis (QUA), with accuracy and efficiency.
* Conduct quality control procedures, equipment calibration, and validation studies in accordance with CLIA regulations.
* Document, verify, and report test results following laboratory protocols and EMR requirements.
* Participate in CLIA-approved proficiency testing and assist in resolving any identified deficiencies.
* Collaborate with laboratory staff and leadership to support smooth daily operations.
* Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
* Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through ASCP, AMT, or an equivalent credentialing body.
* Meets CLIA requirements for personnel performing high-complexity testing, including documented training and competency.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records.
* Must reside in the Oklahoma City area or within a reasonable commuting distance.
* Prior experience in a high-complexity laboratory is preferred but not required.

* Perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. May work under the supervision of a medical technologist.
* Conduct chemical analyses of body fluids, such as blood or urine, using microscope or automatic analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases and enter findings into computer.
* Analyze the results of tests or experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical or electrical devices.
* Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
* Prepare standard volumetric solutions or reagents to be combined with samples, following standardized formulas or experimental procedures.
* Collect blood or tissue samples from patients, observing principles of asepsis to obtain blood sample.
