NorTek Medical Staffing is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children and adults receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals and families while working with a collaborative clinical team.
Position Summary
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will deliver one-on-one ABA therapy services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and support skill acquisition in clients with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role requires empathy, consistency, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to client-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized ABA therapy programs as designed by supervising BCBA
Collect accurate and timely behavioral data during sessions
Monitor client progress and communicate observations to the supervising BCBA
Maintain professional and positive relationships with clients and families
Assist with structuring and supporting treatment environments
Follow ethical and professional standards of conduct and confidentiality
Attend required team meetings and training sessions
Support generalization of client skills across settings when applicable
Qualifications
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in psychology or related field preferred
Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities is a plus
Strong communication skills with clients, families, and clinical team
Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and collect precise data
Professional demeanor, reliable, and able to work independently
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for in-home or community sessions)
Background check clearance as required by clients and state regulations
