Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide full-time leave of absence coverage in multiple elementary schools within the Denver area. This role is on-site in Aurora, CO, serving students ranging from preschool to elementary age at three locations: Eagleview Elementary, Westview Elementary, and Thornton Elementary.
Assignment Details:
- Employment Type: Contract, full-time (35+ hours per week)
- Coverage Periods:
- Westview Elementary: August 12th October 12th
- Eagleview Elementary: August 18th October 30th
- Thornton Elementary (Preschool-Elementary): August 14th December 18th
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Candidates
- SLPA candidates are not eligible for this position
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families and school personnel
