What You'll Do:
As Pastry Sous Chef, you’ll oversee daily production and innovation of baked goods, pastries, and desserts across all M Street concepts. You’ll lead your team, uphold quality standards, and bring artistic flair to every item that leaves your kitchen.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Lead production of breads, pastries, and plated desserts for multiple concepts
- Research, test, and develop new pastry recipes and seasonal offerings
- Maintain consistency and excellence across all pastry items
- Manage ingredient ordering, kitchen organization, and cleanliness
- Deliver and coordinate pastry items across all M Street restaurants
- Support team development and performance with clear feedback
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with brand vision and guest expectations
- Proactively solve problems, maintain pace under pressure, and adapt to evolving demands
- Maintaining impeccable professionalism, poise, and energy throughout the shift
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Contributing to a culture of collaboration, feedback, and mutual respect
What We're Looking For:
- 2–3 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen
- Strong technical pastry and baking skills
- Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and flavor
- Experience in high-volume kitchens preferred
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Clear communicator and collaborative team leader
- Organized, proactive, and growth-minded
