Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
  • Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • A desire to continue learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care
  • Clinical requirements as needed by the office

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties as required by the office or supervising doctor, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally
  • Availability for virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
  • As part of our commitment to a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment, and arrangements will be made during the pre-employment process. This does not apply in Florida and Tennessee.
