Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, providing services at multiple locations within Grant County, Kentucky. This contract position begins August 17th, 2026, and concludes May 26th, 2027, with a work schedule of approximately 35 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Kentucky Teaching Certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students requiring specialized instructional support
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with families and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver instruction and support for students with disabilities in accordance with state guidelines
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all reporting requirements

- Onsite placement in Walton, KY, with assignments at several district sites within Grant County
