Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, providing services at multiple locations within Grant County, Kentucky. This contract position begins August 17th, 2026, and concludes May 26th, 2027, with a work schedule of approximately 35 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Kentucky Teaching Certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with students requiring specialized instructional support
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with families and school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver instruction and support for students with disabilities in accordance with state guidelines
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all reporting requirements

Location and Work Environment:

  • Onsite placement in Walton, KY, with assignments at several district sites within Grant County
