Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is based in a K-12 school in Antioch, TN, offering a contract assignment for the current school year. The role involves providing specialized speech and language services in a dynamic educational environment from approximately April 22, 2026, through May 22, 2026, with the possibility of an earlier start.
Key Qualifications:
- Active ASHA certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Valid Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) SLP license
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to collaborate with educational staff and support student progress
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in need
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as required by state and district guidelines
- Attend team meetings and professional development sessions as necessary
