Location: [Aurora, CO
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $31-$38/hour
Start Date: Immediate Hire
Shift Options:

  • Sunday – Wednesday | 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Wednesday – Saturday | 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM


Job Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support workplace safety and compliance initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for conducting audits, facilitating investigations, maintaining compliance documentation, and assisting with safety training programs. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of OSHA regulations and a passion for promoting a safe workplace.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and communicate compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
  • Conduct workplace observations and safety audits.
  • Support and facilitate safety-related investigations.
  • Maintain and organize documentation required for regulatory compliance.
  • Accurately enter and update information in internal databases in a timely manner.
  • Train and assist managers and team members on safety procedures, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Deliver safety training and other required training programs as directed by management.
  • Support additional responsibilities such as fire prevention, hazardous waste management, and other environmental health and safety initiatives as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) role or a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
  • Professional experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information related to personnel and workplace security matters.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting workplace safety audits and investigations.
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance, hazardous waste management, or fire prevention programs.
  • OSHA certifications


Compensation:

$31/hr to $38/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
