Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare role is available in San Antonio, TX, offering a contract opportunity in an advanced cardiac catheterization lab setting. This position calls for a skilled professional with specific experience in cath lab procedures and the capability to support comprehensive interventional cardiology services.
Key Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification and Texas Medical Board License
- Minimum of 2 years cath lab experience, including heart catheterization and EP studies
- Proficiency with Bi Plane Imaging Suites operation
- Ability to work call nights and weekends
- BLS certification required
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac caths and interventional radiology studies
- Operate complex imaging technology with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Comply with departmental policies on attire, hygiene, and professional appearance
- Participate in floating assignments as needed within the hospital
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of procedures in Meditech or designated systems
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
Schedule and Location:
- Contract duration of 13 weeks
- Guaranteed 36 to 40 hours per week
- Weekend and on-call shifts required
- Located in a well-equipped catheterization lab within a reputable hospital in San Antonio
