We are seeking an experienced and skilled R&D Engineer specializing in aerospace manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional expertise in transforming 2D CAD files into 3D models, strong proficiency with SolidWorks, and robust skills in product development and project management. This individual will also be responsible for programming milling machines (CNC) to manufacture precise aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities:
- Convert complex 2D CAD drawings into detailed 3D SolidWorks models.
- Lead and support product development initiatives from concept through final manufacturing.
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to aerospace quality and safety standards.
- Program, set up, and oversee the operation of CNC milling machines to produce high-quality aerospace parts.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, manufacturing, and procurement,to ensure seamless integration of designs into production.
- Conduct analysis and continuous improvement of designs and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in aerospace manufacturing.
- Extensive experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design validation.
- Proven experience in programming CNC milling machines.
- Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards and quality control procedures.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AS9100 compliance.
- Knowledge of additional CAD/CAM software packages.
- Background in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
