Job Summary
Patient Services Manager – Food & Nutrition Services
Location: University of Miami Hospital (500-bed acute care facility)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays
Overview:
Join our dynamic team at the University of Miami, where we proudly serve patients, staff, and visitors in a world-class healthcare environment. We are seeking a Patient Services Manager to oversee the patient service line within our Food and Nutrition Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the patient service line, included but not limited to the call center, diet office, tray line, and tray delivery staff.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to ensure exceptional service and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Participate in broader departmental responsibilities such as inventory management, ordering, scheduling, audits, and peer reviews.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with satellite teams and collaborate across departments.
- Oversee meal service operations for both the main hospital and affiliated centers, including an inpatient cancer center and ambulatory eye hospital.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in food and nutrition or healthcare foodservice operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays required.
