Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Entry Level Traffic Engineer, located in Winter Park, FL. This opportunity will involve working under a Senior Traffic Engineer and/or Project Manager to produce any combination of signing and pavement marking, signalization, lighting, ITS and/or traffic study documentation and plans. Day to day activities may include, but are not limited to:
· Project engineering, design, planning and computations
· Preparation of final design plans, specifications and studies associated with traffic analysis specifically for lighting, signalization, and signing and pavement marking plan components
· Perform field duties outside of the office in support of project data collection
· Assist in marketing and business development efforts in addition to attending client meetings
· Assist Senior Engineers/Project Managers in a variety of project duties
Minimum Requirements:
· 0-5 Years of Experience in Traffic Design
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering or ability to obtain within 1 year
· Florida EIT license preferred or able to obtain within a year
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Independent personality with a good attitude who pays attention to details and is willing to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment
