Caseload: Kindergarten and 1st Grade Students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and manage a caseload of K-1 students in an SDC classroom.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials to ensure accessibility and engagement for all students.
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff to deliver cohesive educational experiences.
- Foster academic, social, and emotional growth by delivering support and interventions.
- Ensure pliance with all federal and state special education laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential for the state of California.
- Experience in teaching within a Special Day Class (SDC) setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families.
- Strong munication skills along with effective classroom management strategies.
