Quality Assurance Technician
Job Description
As a QA Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This position will have you spending approximately 40% of your time in the laboratory and 60% on the production floor, providing a balanced combination of hands-on lab work and floor interaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate, and report analytical results of products and raw materials, alerting out-of-compliance results.
- Administer the company's Quality Program in accordance with customer and company requirements.
- Review and develop QA procedures.
- Regularly review production and receiving records.
- Conduct sensory evaluations, visual inspections, and analyses of raw ingredients and finished products.
- Perform final wash inspections of production rooms.
- Troubleshoot product discrepancies.
- Conduct environmental analyses and titration of sanitation chemicals.
- Participate in finished goods hold/release system.
- Create and maintain production documents, including archival storage and certificates of analysis.
Essential Skills
- Experience with audits, GMP practices, and manufacturing processes.
- Communication skill cross functionally.
- Ability to work independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ months of GMP manufacturing experience.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
