The Role:

\n

We are looking for a Materials and Inventory Supervisor with a genuine passion for excellence and a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company. This role will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, storage, and outbound distribution processes of Viridi’s products and supplies in our Richmond, CA, facility. Inbound responsibilities will require constant communication and coordination with the procurement staff, suppliers, and shippers. Consistent coordination and organization with Sales and Service is a must for outbound distribution, displaying keen attention to detail on all paperwork and record-keeping. This candidate will also have a large role in inventory management and will control the flow of supplies and equipment while tracking and carefully analyzing the inventory.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and a solid working knowledge of computer systems, WMS, and inventory management software.

Job Responsibilities:

\n

INBOUND:

\n

    \n
  • Coordinate with corporate procurement and logistics staff on everyday basis.
  • \n

  • Unload, receive and inspect material from incoming shipments for quality of goods.
  • \n

  • Handle paperwork and digitally process packing lists upon shipment receipt.
  • \n

  • Identify any bottlenecks in the process and follow up in case of delays.
  • \n

  • Manage and return incorrect shipments.
  • \n

  • Complete product receipts in ERP system.
  • \n

  • Coordinate and participate in cycle counts.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders, such as suppliers and shippers.
  • \n

OUTBOUND:

\n

    \n
  • Coordinate with Sales to schedule outgoing shipments of finished goods and part orders.
  • \n

  • Coordinate with Service for incoming and outgoing assets and part orders.
  • \n

  • Complete all necessary paperwork for shipments, including Bill of Lading, Dangerous Goods Paperwork, Packing List, CofC and Customs Paperwork when necessary.
  • \n

  • Ensure all parts and assets are ship-ready and prepare all outgoing shipments prior to shipping.
  • \n

  • Complete checklists and prepare machines and other equipment for shipping when a specified shipping date is coordinated with the customers.
  • \n

  • Complete manufacturing orders within ERP system.
  • \n

  • Ensure Delivery Orders are completed and documented within ERP system.
  • \n

  • Record keeping of all outgoing and incoming shipments' paperwork.
  • \n

  • Load Outbound shipments.
  • \n

\n

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:

\n

    \n
  • Control the flow of supplies and equipment, track, and analyze inventory.
  • \n

  • Follow FIFO procedures when putting away and taking out inventory.
  • \n

  • Complete product transactions in ERP system.
  • \n

  • Perform inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • \n

  • Notify QC department of delivered items requiring inspection.
  • \n

  • Prepare reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n

    \n
  • At least two years of verifiable experience in a similar position.
  • \n

  • Working knowledge of computer systems, and inventory management software
  • \n

  • Fork Truck experience
  • \n

  • Management experience in logistics, systems engineering, or similar preferred.
  • \n

\n

Physical Requirements:

\n

    \n
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking
  • \n

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
