Adamas Building Services is a specialty company providing property managers with White Glove Services for ALL your property needs 24/7. With a full complement of services for residential and commercial luxury properties, you can count on Adamas to exceed your expectations.
Adamas Building Services is looking for an exceptional Shuttle Driver with experience working in luxury residential communities. Our company is a leading expert in the Residential Services market with properties throughout New Jersey. We have an opening at our Iselin, NJ location.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-11am & 3pm-7pm
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Travel/Transportation is 5 minutes back and forth with a van.
The ideal candidate will also have superior experience in the following areas including, but not limited to:
- Safely transport passengers to and from designated locations, following predetermined routes and schedules.
- Follow strict schedules to ensure on-time arrivals and departures, adjusting routes and times to accommodate traffic or unforeseen circumstances.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers and answering any questions or concerns.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the shuttle vehicle, including performing routine inspections, fueling, and reporting any mechanical issues or damages.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a safe driving environment for passengers and other road users.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including passenger counts, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with passengers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off locations and address any changes or delays.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and professional conduct standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance driving skills and knowledge of shuttle operations.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with various passengers.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or challenging situations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine inspections.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of local routes and landmarks is preferred.
