The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing patients for and performing ordered examinations for specified anatomical regions.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Prepare patients for examinations/explain procedures and processes
- Perform PET/Nuclear Medicine examinations and scans
- Establish and maintain IVs
- Administer contrast agents as needed
- Documentation in patient charts
- Display good work ethic and friendly and cheerful disposition
- Maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality
- Pursue professional development for the continual improvement of patient care
The ideal candidate will have 6+ months experience as an Nuclear Medicine Technologist along with their ARRT and NMTCB certification.
