Job Title: Welder (1st of 2nd Shift)

Job Description

Join our expanding team to work on an exciting new product line of skid-mounted data center racks. As a welder, you will be primarily working with Pulse MIG, Flux-core, and some MIG welding techniques. Your focus will be on constructing skids using galvanized and carbon steel materials.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks using Pulse MIG, Flux-core, and MIG techniques.
  • Construct skids for data center racks using galvanized and carbon steel.
  • Ensure all welding meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of approximately 10 other welders.
  • Stay late and work Saturdays as needed to meet project deadlines.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in Pulse MIG, Flux-core, and MIG welding.
  • Ability to pass welding skill tests.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including late shifts and Saturdays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with galvanized steel welding.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled shop with a team of about 45 people, including 10 other welders. Choose between two shifts: 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm) or 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11:00pm).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77065.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
