Position Overview:

The Flex Medical Assistant role is designed for a dynamic and versatile professional. While your primary duties will align with traditional CMA responsibilities, this role also includes cross-coverage across other key positions within the clinic. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a can-do attitude are essential.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist providers with patient care, including vital signs, charting, documentation, and patient education.
  • Perform lab draws, administer injections, complete EKGs, and assist with in-office procedures.
  • Room patients, prepare exam rooms, and maintain cleanliness and stock levels.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and patient support.

Flex Responsibilities:

  • Coordinator Support: Assist with inbound calls & text, patient follow-up, prior authorizations, referrals, and communication between departments.
  • Jump in as needed to support clinic operations and ensure continuity of care and workflow.

What Were Looking For:

  • Active CMA or CNA certification
  • Prior experience in a medical office or family practice setting is a plus.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable shifting between clinical and administrative duties.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
