We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our excellent clients in Winston-Salem on a long-term temporary basis. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Process high-volume vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding to general ledger accounts.

Verify and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and payment terms.

Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries promptly.

Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and documentation.

Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.

Collaborate with procurement and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Support audits by providing requested documentation and reports.
Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Experience:
-
Minimum 2–3 years of accounts payable experience in a corporate environment.

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
