Job DescriptionRecovery Network provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, professional, & experienced part time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our team!

Hours:

  • Part-time
  • 15 - 20 hours per week
  • Hours can be Monday - Friday between 9:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities include:

  • The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner assumes total clinical care of specific clients, including diagnosis, treatment, & consultation in accordance with established nursing standards, procedures, & practices.
  • Provide services to clients in the forms of psychiatric evaluations, psychiatric consultations, treatment planning, medication administration / adjustments, medication assisted treatment (MAT), mental status assessments, supportive therapy, and / or crisis intervention.
  • Prescribe and / or direct psychotherapeutic treatments or medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
  • Monitor effects of psychotropic medications on clients.
  • Revises / updates plan of care based on client progress or lack of progress.
  • Clinical documentation for all assessments & follow up appointments
  • The PNP will work in an inpatient & outpatient setting & can perform independently or as part of a team.
  • The PNP will work closely with other staff to instruct & inform of all medication changes & medication compliance.

Required Education & Qualifications include:

  • Maryland of compact state license as a RN.
  • CRNP-PMH (or) PMHNP
  • Must hold XDEA (Buprenorphine waiver) privileges
  • Vivitrol injection experience
  • MAT / MOUD prescribing experience
  • Possesses clinical elements of substance abuse treatment
  • Possesses knowledge of trauma, attachment, & relational models.
  • Possesses knowledge of methods of appropriate clinical documentation in a treatment setting.
  • Ability to write clear & concise reports / documentation
  • Ability to explain technical terminology to nonexperts in a professional manner

Pay:

  • $80.00/hr.
